Using the VRoma MOO, e-mail, and our web discussion board, they continue to collaborate 'virtually' even after the workshops have ended, in order to refine the skills required for successful on-line collaborative teaching and learning. Moreover, we offer teachers who take part in our workshops both server space and ongoing support as they continue to hone their skills and (we hope) to produce materials that will be widely useful."

The books introduce students to a typical Roman family; the tales of this family's life teach students about the inhabitants, mythology, and history of ancient Rome, using a combination of original stories, full color illustrations, fascinating articles, and exercises. The engrossing stories also serve to teach Latin gently but efficiently to modern young students." (G. Lawall)

Jenney's First & Second Year Latin   "Teachers have praised Jenney's clear, logical presentation of forms and syntax for over 30 years. He acquired the rights to the well known beginning text by Smith and Thompson which he then edited and partially rewrote. [...] For 20 years this remained the most widely used textbook in the United States for elementary and intermediate Latin in secondary schools. In the late 1980's the publisher (now Prentice Hall/Simon Schuster) in response to concerns voiced by a group of distinguished consulting teachers undertook a complete revision of the First and Second Year Latin texts.
